Al-Imam Ali (a) is Lion of Allah
Fatima (a)’s husband
Cousin and helper of the Prophet (s)
He is a man with excellent attributes
in faith, sacrifice, righteousness and courage
He never turned his back to the enemy
that is the meaning of Karrar Gher Farrar
Under his flag guaranteed was the victory
He spoke of truth and issued just decrees
Aqzakom Ali yibni Abi Talib
“I am the city of knowledge and he is the gate of this city”
was the saying of prophet (s)
He was honest and fair in his dealings with people
He never indulged himself in the worldly luxuries
“Oh, gold and silver that sparkle
you may betray other, but not me…”
this was what would uttered by him
when he inspect the treasury as an Imam.
